“My interest in photography first came about in high school, we did a semester in YR9, walking around the school taking photos and then going into the darkroom to develop them. Over the years I owned an array of film cameras. In 2012 I received a Nikon D3100 for Christmas, which lit that spark again. Moved to Melbourne in 2015, thought I would look for a photography club to join, which I did, meeting new like minded people, learning new features of the camera, growing my passion for photography even more, then making the decision to head back west, I typed in photography clubs around Rockingham into google search and Rockingham Photography Club popped up and here I am. Joining the club in 2017 has been a great adventure, learning and building my passion even more. I now shoot with a Nikon D5600 and learning what it can do and what I can do has been an adventure, with even more exciting adventures to come.”
